The Adventure Begins!

Sunday December 7th leave home via a ride to the Amtrak Train Station from my new house/cat sitter. Aboard the train for a nice ride to Portland. Once there I made a couple mile hike with my 22 pound back pack to Pioneer Square. For only a buck the Max brought me right up to the Airport terminal. Well that was easy! Now just have to wait for about 7 hours for my first flight. Well sleeping there on the seating wasn't bad either but only one problem. I have fought leg cramps for years and thought I had it all pretty much under control but after a short hike with a back pack in freezing weather gave the cramps a new onslaught on my legs. I must have looked weird sleeping with my legs spread on the bench there in the airport but low and behold the security didn't even bother me. Guess they were to busy laughing.
